Lea Williams

(Director and Responsible Individual)

Lea Williams has an instinct for both commercial and social entrepreneurship. An engineer by profession, he is currently Managing Director of AIS Support Services Ltd based-in Digbeth, Birmingham. In spite of his many business commitments, he is a major influence in social enterprise activities in the black community.

He is a Founder and Chair of the Black Business Association in Birmingham and his other interests include mentoring inner-city youths (especially boys) and was a founding member of 100 Black Men mentoring organisation where he served ten years as it’s Vice President. He is a Football Association qualified coach and has been an active manager and coach of local football teams in the Birmingham area. He is a former board member of the African Caribbean Business Forum

(ACBF) in Birmingham; a former Governor of City College, Birmingham (now known as South & City College); former member of the Careers and Education Business Partnership and Connexions Birmingham and is a Rotarian.

“In June 2006, Mr. Williams was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to Business in the West Midlands Region”

Rachel Brant

(Operations Director)

Rachel has worked with young people for 10 years, during this time she has worked in secure units, remand units and various children’s homes as a support worker

She then gained experience and knowledge to hold a Deputy Manager position for 11 months before becoming a Registered Manager, gaining level 4 NVQ and the Registered Managers Award.

As a registered manager she achieved a number of outstanding inspections and through her dedication, knowledge and experience she became a Head of Care overseeing numerous homes and Managers, driving improvement and training in those homes to achieve positive outcome for the young people.
